Selling on Talio Square

Understanding Escrow: What TradeSafe Means for You as a Seller

Escrow protects both parties. As a seller, TradeSafe means you receive guaranteed payment when delivery is confirmed — not a promise, a financial system backed by Standard Bank.

Every transaction on Talio Square runs through TradeSafe escrow. Here is what that actually means for your cash flow, your protection, and your obligations.

What escrow actually does

When a buyer pays, the money goes into a TradeSafe-held account until the transaction completes — protecting both sides.

When you actually get paid

Funds release once the buyer confirms delivery, or once your delivery window passes without dispute. Plan your cash flow accordingly.

What happens if there's a dispute

Funds stay held while disputes are investigated. Full detail is in our Refund and Dispute Policy.

What this means practically

Ship promptly and keep dispatch documentation. See our guide on how payouts work for the full timeline.
